KARTAVYA : THE SOCIAL SERVICE SOCIETY

Vivante : The Philanthrophy week (March 26 & 27, 2015)

KARTAVYA- the social service society of the college exists with the motive of reaching out to the less fortunate and under privileged sections of the society which are deprived of even the fundamental necessities of life. It believes in 'Making A Difference' in the lives of those who are not as fortunate as us. KARTAVYA is not a just charitable venture; instead its rationale is simply to do small things that can bring about huge difference in some lives if not all. The objective of the society is to carry forward the work done in the last session towards social development and to make the college an active agent of change in the process of the development of the less privileged sections of the community. It aims to inculcate a sense of social responsibility in the students. Projects like rain water harvesting, pitcher irrigation, vermi-compost and Child Development Khazana as Child Credit and Saving Union Scheme are some of the initiatives undertaken by the society.

To Achieve The Objectives Of The Forum, Kartavya Has Undertaken A Series Of Various Projects And Activities. Rain Water Harvesting; Project Boond (Conservation Of Water); Wish Tree (Wishes Of Underprivileged Children Were Brought To Life And Fulfilled); Pension Project (Building Awareness Among Senior Citizens On Pension Schemes).
