SSCBS student to participate in World Business Dialogue, 2016 at Cologne, Germany
Madhav Kumar, a BMS 3rd year student of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies has been chosen from amongst over 800 applicants to be one of the 300 international delegates at the 19th World Business Dialogue, 2016, the world's largest international convention organised entirely by students.
The World Business Dialogue is organised by the Organisationsforum Wirtschaftskongress gemeinnützige GmbH, a non-profit student organisation headquartered in Cologne, Germany. Over the past 25 years, they've attracted some of the best and brightest students, industry experts, Noble laureates and other very eminent speakers to their platforms, facilitating the exchange of ideas and higher learning.
This year's event takes place from 14th to 18th March, 2016 in Cologne, Germany.
Acceptance to attend this convention is an exceptional achievement, and we are proud that one of our students has done so.
Recognising the importance of this, the University of Delhi has kindly helped facilitate Madhav's application and presence at this august event with a grant of Fifty Thousand Rupees.
We wish Madhav best of luck with this endeavour and we hope that he and our other students continue to raise the flag of SSCBS at the global arena.
SSCBS selected by Govt of NCT of Delhi and given a grant of Rs 1.5 Crore for setting up an Incubation Centre
Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies has been selected by the Govt of NCT of Delhi for setting up an Incubation Centre for promoting Entrepreneurship. It is one of the 6 Delhi based institutions and the only undergraduate college chosen. The college has been given an initial grant of Rs 1.5 Crore by the Govt. The amount was handed over to the Principal by the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minster of Delhi, Sh. Manish Sisodia at distribution ceremony in the Delhi Secretariat on 07 March, 2016. Students from the Entrepreneurship Society of the college (Yuva) also represented the college and shared their experiences with their own start-ups. The college aims utilise these funds to promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ventures among the students of the college and beyond in an inclusive and beneficial manner.
