Communiqué - The Promotion Cell

SSCBS stands out for its uniqueness in the field of education and development, as the students, under the guidance of the expert faculty, get to be a part of myriad activities- theoretical, practical and cultural, all of which turn them into effective leaders and managers. This constant quest for excellence is what the college stands for, and which needed to be projected to the career-oriented youth of today.

With this aim as its foundation, Communiqué - The Promotion Cell was conceptualized in 2007 and it embarked upon its journey to make a continuous endeavour to promote brand SSCBS. Working towards achieving this objective, Communiqué organises many events to increase awareness about the college, courses and curriculum amongst students, parents and teachers. Communiqué members hold interactive sessions in schools for the class XIth & XIIth students all over Delhi and participate in career-oriented seminars to give parents and students an insight about the college and increase awareness about opportunities in the field of management at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. It also manages affairs like organizing seminars, workshops and interactive sessions in the college to standardize the sequence of operations and work ethics.

One of the highlights of Communiqué is the organisation of its annual management and promotional event - PRODIGY, which has become one of the most awaited events in the school calendar. Prodigy is a one of its kind competition that aims to bring Prodigies across the length and breadth of Delhi & NCR schools into one arena and pit their wits and talents against each other in a variety of competitions. It is a Business Oriented Event for the school students. The purpose is to tap the energies and capture the attention of all creative and talented minds of the age group 16-18 years by the means of an intriguing order of events which take place in Prodigy. Our aim, in organizing Prodigy is to refine the perception and thinking of the students towards Management Education and show them the exciting and rewarding prospects of the same. Prodigy boasts of enthusiastic participation from schools and considerable support from the college authorities, cementing its success and purpose in building and promoting brand CBS.

Communiqué has also organised a mini-virasat series in association with Spic Macay, a highly esteemed organization. The event filled up the cultural void that existed in the college. The series turned out to be an exhilarating success, witnessing large audience participation. The event that included lecture demonstration, movie screening and classical performances served as a medium for promoting the college and creating awareness of India’s priceless cultural heritage among the college students.

With innovative activities like these, Communiqué has set high aspirations for itself and the team is actively working to fulfil its commitments and prove its mettle by establishing itself as one of the most elite societies at SSCBS.
