They say that Art is an expression of Life… and Dance, is the best way to express oneself and one’s soul.

The Dance Society is a forum, which brings together all kinds of dances forms both Indian and western – the moon walks, contemporary, jazz to bollywood, classical and traditional that we all enjoy.

Add to this the interesting company, the outstation trips and most of all the routine practice sessions and we have something really special.

The semester system and exams at regular intervals do restrict our activity in fests to an extent, but the Dance Soc still perseveres to put in some really spirited, competitive & explosive performances in the ones that they do participate in.

We have been the winners in DCE, UCMS, and runners up in our college’s annual fest twice over the past few years and have reached the finals in competitions in IIM-BANGALORE, IIT-BOMBAY etc.

We at Bolero, do just that, but a lot more as dance isn’t just dance.
