Additional Seats for following Categories
- 5% of the total seats will be offered to the foreign students.
- 5% of the total seats will be offered to CW(Children/Widow/Wives of the officers and men of the armed forces, including paramilitary personnel, killed / died / disabled in action or on duty) category.
- 3% seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates.
- 1,2 and 3 are supernumerary.
- The seat matrix may be revised every year as per the directive of the University of Delhi regarding reservation.
Explanations
- All seats shall be filled through an open competition only.
- All efforts shall be made to make sure that no seat remains vacant. However, under no circumstances a candidate shall be admitted to the course later than the opening day of the 1st semester ,each year.
- Only the OBCs listed in the Central List of OBCs shall be considered for admission under the OBC category. The OBC certificate should mention that the candidate belongs to “Non Creamy layer” in order to be considered under the OBC category.
- OBC candidates shall be considered eligible in any college if the final marks listed for such candidate are not more than 10% lower than the final marks scored by the last candidate admitted to the general category.
- If any seats in the OBC category remain unfilled, the same shall be filled by General category candidates.
