The Analyst Street

‘The Analyst Street’ is a quarterly magazine launched by the faculty and students of Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis (BFIA) of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.

The thrust of the BFIA programme is on exposing the students to real time business problems, through three years of rigorous industry training, which runs simultaneously with theory classes. The course complements students who are keen on working in the core areas of finance, mainly with investment companies, capital markets, foreign exchange dealers, banks, mutual fund operations, insurance sector or finance companies with course contents ranging from introduction to business and finance, corporate taxation, auditing to corporate restructuring, merchant banking, investment analysis, portfolio management, etc.

As the world of finance is constantly developing and surfacing, students of our college felt a need for an all-encompassing magazine dedicated to this subject matter to keep shoulder to shoulder with the ever changing dynamics of this environment. ‘The Analyst Street’ is designed to help the students understand various aspects of finance, including Tax, Accounting, and Derivatives. With contributions from the student community as well as reputed industry circles, this magazine aims to provide readers with a fresh outlook on various issues concerning the dynamic financial world of today.

The first edition of the quarterly magazine was released at the end of September and is available for download below.
