FACULTY OF APPLIED SOCIAL SCIENCES & HUMANITIES (FASSH)(University of Delhi South Campus) ADMISSION NOTICE (2009-10) BACHELOR OF BUSINESS STUDIES (BBS)
The BBS program is being offered by Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies since 1987 and by Deen Dayal Upadhaya College and Keshav Mahavidalaya College, since 2007, under the FASSH University of Delhi, South Campus.
The BFIA program is being offered by Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies since 1999. Eligibility Conditions:Appeared / Passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/CW/Physically Challenged categories) in four papers including English for BBS and English and Mathematics for BFIA. Rest of the papers may be Accountancy, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Geography, History, Informatics Practices, Introductory Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Secretarial Practices, Social Science, Sociology, Word Processing. Admission Criteria: Refer to the BBS / BFIA Information Bulletin 2009. Application Procedure:Information Bulletin 2009 and application form can be obtained through any bank draft, payable at Delhi (with validity of six months) in favor of ‘Principal, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies’ from the following branches of Canara Bank: (1) Darya Ganj 34, Netaji Subhash Marg (2) Faridabad 8A, Nehru Ground (3) Gurgaon, Old Railway Road, SK Tower, Dhobighat (4) Janakpuri C30, Community Centre (5) 74 Janpath (6) 3/F, Kamlanagar and 130D, Kamlanagar (7) Mayur Vihar Phase-II, Pocket A, CS Centre (8) NOIDA C3, Sector-I (9) Rajouri Garden J6, Community Centre (10) R K Puram, Sector-12, 13, 12 Aradhana Enclave (11) Rohini Sector – V, A2, Local Shopping Complex (12) Sarita Vihar, 7, H Block Market (13) South Extension, Part-I, G 25, (14) Vivek Vihar, D Block Market. Only outstation applicants can obtain Information Bulletin 2009 and Application Form by post from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Vivek Vihar, Phase-II, Delhi-110095 by sending a self-addressed A4 size envelope, affixed with Rs.60/- postal stamps, alongwith a crossed bank draft for application fee amount as mentioned below. The draft should be in favor of ‘Principal, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi’, payable at Delhi. Applicant must write his/her full name, category, postal address, phone number, course(s) applied for, and test centre opted, at the back of the bank draft and submit alongwith a photocopy of both sides of the bank draft. Applicants (Delhi & Out station) are required to retain a photocopy of the bank draft and write his / her full name, category, postal address, phone number, application form number, course/s applied for and test centre opted at the back of the bank draft’s photocopy to be sent along with the filled up OMR application form. Faculty/college shall not be responsible for any postal delay / loss, if any. Application Fee for one course is Rs. 460/- (Rs. 260/- for SC/ST/CW) and for both the courses is Rs. 660/- (Rs. 360/- for SC/ST/CW). Once applied, change / addition of course is not permitted. Application form complete in all respects should be sent by speed post to - Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Vivek Vihar (Phase-II), Delhi-110 095 in the envelope provided. Application form available from 15/04/2009 to 02/05/2009. Last Date for the receipt of application form duly filled in is 02/05/2009.
